Less than a month left until Zemfira's concert in Armenia
Zemfira Ramazanova is one of the most prominent and influential figures in Russian rock music of the late nineties and early noughties. It was then that the rapid rise of a simple girl from Ufa began, who came to the capital at the invitation of the already popular at that time lead singer of the group "Mumiy Troll", Ilya Lagutenko. He was looking for new talents in Russia, and came across Zemfira's disc with her first tracks sent to him. He also helped the artist record her debut album in the capital, "Zemfira", after the release of which the performer woke up famous. The album instantly became a hit, and the songs "AIDS", "Arivederchi" and "Romashki" sounded from every radio receiver. Unique vocals, sincere lyrics and memorable melodies made Zemfira the voice of a generation.
Following albums only strengthened her position in the Russian music industry. "Forgive Me, My Love" (2000) demonstrated a more mature sound and lyrics, and "Fourteen Weeks of Silence" (2002) was an experiment with sound and arrangements. Each of Zemfira's albums is a kind of portrait of a certain period of her life and work. Among other significant albums in Zemfira's discography, it is worth noting "Vendetta" (2005), "Thank You" (2007) and "Live in Your Head" (2013). Each of them has its own mood and style, but at the same time retains Zemfira's unique style. Her music is always a sincere conversation with the audience, a reflection of their thoughts, feelings and experiences. She came on the scene at a time when the listener saw only male rock bands; the public had never met a woman who spoke so sincerely, directly and talentedly about her feelings and experiences. Zemfira became such a figure, who had a huge influence on the development of Russian rock music. She brought freshness and sincerity to it, moved away from traditional cliches and created her own, recognizable style. Her talent was so powerful, especially against the backdrop of the same plastic pop, that everyone immediately recognized: Zemfira is a phenomenon. If her first record was a pop collection, largely inspired by the work of the provocative and unusual Zhanna Aguzarova, who was incredibly popular at the time, then Zemfira began to experiment more in the field of alternative rock, electronic music and even such chamber song genres as romance. This evolutionary path, marked by the search for new sounds and stylistic solutions, made her one of the most interesting and unpredictable figures on the Russian music scene. Zemfira is not afraid to move away from the usual formats, break stereotypes and surprise the listener, which ensures her constant interest and critical recognition. Few pop artists allow themselves such experiments. As a rule, they still keep within strictly defined limits. And Zemfira also turned out to be a talented poetess, and she knew and knows how to write truly voluminous, deep lyrics, in which everyone will find something of their own - understandable and close. Her music always has deep lyricism, a subtle sense of melancholy and sincerity. Zemfira's lyrics are often a confession of the soul, a reflection of personal experiences and reflections on life. She talks about love, loneliness, the search for meaning and identity, touching on topics close to many listeners.
Even despite her non-publicity and moving abroad, she remains famous in Russia and the near abroad. You can buy tickets for Zemfira's concert in Yerevan, at the Razdan stadium on our website right now, because there is less and less time left before the performance of your favorite artist.
