Armenia vs. North Macedonia: Epic Nations League Battle at Vazgen Sargsyan Stadium

The Armenian and North Macedonian national teams will play in the Nations League on October 13 at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium in Yerevan.

All national teams within the League are divided into 4 leagues: A, B, C and D. The strongest teams get into League A, and the weakest - into D.

The national teams of Armenia and North Macedonia got into the League in Group C. The composition of the groups was determined by the League of Nations rating. This is a special rating released on October 17, 2017. The Faroe Islands and Latvia are also in this group.

The teams have met more than once, and two matches were played with such impressive results as 0:5 in favor of North Macedonia and 4:1 in favor of Armenia. The teams will meet at the Vazgen Sargsyan Multi-Purpose Universal Stadium. This is one of the oldest stadiums in Armenia, built in 1935. It was reconstructed in 1999 and 2008. Currently, the stadium hosts home games of the Armenian national team and FC Pyunik. The stadium's capacity is 15,000 fans, including a VIP box.
