Description
Urartu Stadium, formerly known as Banants Stadium, is located in Malatia-Sebastia District of Yerevan, Armenia. It is a multi-purpose outdoor stadium with a capacity of approximately 5,000 spectators. It serves as the home stadium for Urartu Football Club and Urartu 2. The average attendance is 710 people per game, which indicates a stable interest in the sporting events held here.
Built in 2006 with the assistance of UEFA, the stadium is designed primarily for football matches. Its infrastructure includes two additional training pitches for youth and junior teams. In 2008, an artificial turf was installed at the stadium, which allows training to be held in difficult weather conditions.
In 2010, the stadium underwent a major renovation and reopened in May 2011. After the renovation, the stadium field became one of the best in the region, which allows the Urartu team to take part in the Champions League and Europa League matches.
The stadium is part of the Urartu training center, providing all the necessary conditions for the preparation of athletes. To view the schedule and poster of events, visit our website. To buy tickets for upcoming events, use the available online services.
