The history of the Hrazdan Stadium is rich and varied. Built in 1971, it has become the arena for many memorable sporting events, including victories of the Ararat Football Club in the USSR Championship and Cup. During the Soviet era, the stadium hosted matches of the USSR national team, as well as major concerts, such as Alla Pugacheva’s performance in 1984.
