About the Concert

The festival will open the twentieth anniversary concert season of the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia. This evening, guests will hear Aram Khachaturian's Violin Concerto, performed by virtuoso Darius Preuss. The program will include works by famous Armenian composers, including Edward Mirzoyan and John Ter-Tadevosyan. Sergey Smbatyan will be conducting, giving each melody a special sound. The musical evening will last about two hours with an intermission.
