Plot

"Khanuma" is a comedy-vaudeville. The action takes place in 19th century Tiflis. The main plot is the marriage of Prince Vano Pantiashvili. Two matchmakers, Khanuma and Kabato, make plans, involving a teacher, a merchant with his daughter and other characters. The play reveals the atmosphere of the old city and interethnic relations.
