The plot of the opera tells the story of a little mouse who has a long-awaited birthday. Her mother wants to give her a special gift, but in order to fulfill it, she urgently needs to find millet for making a cake. However, along the way, the mouse's mother falls into the clutches of an owl, which is ready to catch her. But real friends come to the rescue, who resolutely fight against obstacles to deliver millet and save the birthday of the mouse. And, of course, everything ends happily!
