About the concert
Gayane Ghambaryan, soprano and winner of international competitions, will appear on stage. This evening she will perform the program «De España vengo», which will feature Spanish zarzuelas and folk melodies. The ancient music ensemble «Tagaran» under the direction of Sedrak Yerkanyan will support the singer with live accompaniment.
In the first part, guests will hear Conchi’s romance from the zarzuela «Las hijas del Zebedeo» by Pablo Luna and the piece «Rose with sauce» by Carlos Guastavino. In the second half, Luisa’s song from the zarzuela «Las hijas del Zebedeo» by Ruperto Chapi will be performed, as well as other memorable numbers.
