DDT in Armenia

Description

The DDT group is a legend of Russian rock music, founded by Yuri Shevchuk in 1980 in Ufa. Over the years of its existence, the group has become a symbol of civic-patriotic lyrics and social satire, reflecting in its songs a call for moral self-improvement and the rejection of violence. The music of DDT is familiar to many from such hits as "Rain", "Don't Shoot!", "What is Autumn" and "That's All", which have become real anthems for several generations.

The history of the group began in the era of underground rock concerts, when DDT played rock and roll and rhythm and blues. In 1986, after moving to Leningrad, the classic line-up was formed, which brought the group all-Russian fame. In 1988, the first official album, “I Got This Role,” was released, cementing their success on the music scene.

An important part of DDT’s work were global programs such as “Black Dog Petersburg,” “World Number Zero,” and “Otherwise,” each of which reveals unique themes and philosophical reflections on life and the world. These programs became the basis for numerous concerts and festivals organized by the group.
